My ex-boyfriend was hit by a train back in the early 80's. He is partially paralyzed from 5" below the shoulders. His right leg is shorter than the left leg and it is classified as a peg leg, for he can't feel it. This man is hte love of my life and I think after everything that he has to go through to drive his truck that his truck should be tricked out. In order for him to drive his truck, he puts his left leg on the running board, then he swings his right leg into the truck. In order to drive he has to bend his right leg behind the left leg to drive. So therefore, he uses his left foot to work the gas & break pedals. But the problem is that his left leg is starting to give out on him as his right leg does. For he has drop foot on the right foot. But after driving a short distance this puts more pressure on his back. My wish is that his truck be tricked out so the pedals are on the left and some kind of mechanical device to help him get in and out of the truck. For as he gets older his pain in more excuriating. This man is the love of my life but it did not work out, but I know how hard it is for him to get in and out of his truck and I have seen your show when you have done it for other people. I truly love this man, and I feel that if anybody deserves to have their truck tricked it should be him to help accomodate him so he does not lose his independence of driving. His name is Darrell Benish, lives in Sikeston, MO his phone numbers are as follows: (321) 863-6019 or (573) 258-9141. Please I am begging that you guys help him for he deserves it more than anyone else.

I work for the Illinois DOT and was wondering if Trick My Truck has done anything on government vehicles. We have the trucks that plow the snow and we have an old International Telstar 5000, which is our biggest truck we use when plowing snow.I can provide a picture of it later. It is presently sitting in our yard with a few problems but it would be awesome if we could get this old girl turned into a tricked out show truck!
We're all veterans working in our yard and would like to dedicate & celebrate this truck to all those soldiers who have and will give the ultimate sacrifice. We actually have one of our guys getting ready to ship towards the Middle East next month.
We always know our honor reveals our pride and we would like to show everyone that the State of Illinois represents their troops. If this is possible....talk to me.I'll do alot of the "foot work" to help.Talk to me!

I have a 1979 Toyota pick up that my dad has had since it came off the lot that year and he has recently signed over the truck to me and my husband. My dad has worked from morning till bedtime since before I was born and to this day never takes a break. He grew up poor and has made a good life for his family. This truck was his dream truck at one time and he deserves to have it back to good condition. I know that if he could see his truck back like it once was he would have that pride I used to see when he would take it out for a drive. I tried to get him to fix it up when I was a teen but he works so much he never got the time. I am currently driving it to work and know that one day it is going to fall apart going down the road. I have always wanted to restore it but I can barely afford gas to put in it. I am living with my parents with my husband and 2 children. I would love to give something back and also know that I would be safe driving to my job everyday. I have loved "Trick My Truck" since the 1st episode and would be over joyed to have my dads pick up restored. I wasn't sure if there was a form to fill out so I hope this gets read by the right people.

To Whom It May Concern:

I'm writing this letter in memory of my late boyfriend, PFC. Thomas L. Tucker. Tommy was kidnapped and killed in Iraq on the 16th of June 2006. In the two years since Tommy was killed, I located and purchased his first high school pickup. It's a '76 Chevy. I honestly know NOTHING about fixing up any kind of machinery, let alone an old, beat to hell pickup. Tommy's friends and old high school buddies have offered to help restore the Chevy, but peoples lives get busy and there really hasn't been time for anyone to really put the time and attention into Tommy's pickup. I'm hoping to be considered for an episode on "Trick My Truck". I'm hoping that if and when his pickup is restored I can enter the pickup in the local 4th of July parade here in our hometown of Madras. I'm also hoping to enter the pickup in the Veteran's Day parades as well. This community was so supportive and wonderful through this entire tragedy and the past two years that somehow I want to show them that Tommy's not forgotten, nor is their everlasting support. This pickup isn't just for me... It's for Tommy. For his mom and dad, sister, Tayva and his two nephews that have been left behind with only the memories. This pickup has so many stories surrounding it. His family and close friends know the history of this truck and I want to somehow restore it to it's former glory. If you could only help. Thank you for your time. God Bless you. God Bless America...And God Bless our TROOPS!!

My son is a Youth Minister, so you know what he makes!. he is more interested in kids and youth then money. He is however human and likes nice things as does anyone else, he just cant afford to get them. This is a picture of his 1970 VW Camper Bus, which is in bad need of some fixin. It does run, but could use somw tweeking. It has its share of rust and could use some interrior work its all there but just not installing. He doesn't have time as he works 50 to 60hrs a week if he's not at church he's working with intercity youth (his real passion). He is presently trying to get a full time position with an intercity youth organization. He and his wife really need to get the van TRICKED but just cant do it without help. I love the show and a VW (hippie) van tricking would be a nice twist dont you think?

Hello, Congratulations to the success of your show, we love it! obviously your #1 fans are trucker families like us. We truly enjoy watching your show/s whenever we can. i have to be honest we can't follow up all the time due to my husband being gone a lot and myself working and taking care of the household. We thank God that we are both healthy,(for now) My husband is over weight! What i wanted to ask of you is to cast him on both of your shows "TRICK MY TRUCK" & "TRICK MY TRUCKER" He could really use a lot of help with his weight! I think if someone trained and professional can show him how he can eat healthy and put exercise in to his busy driving schedule that he can do it. He really wants to but he doesn't seem to know how to start or when he does, how to keep it up; it scares me that he is a diabetic or a heart attack waiting to happen... Please Please Help him on that department! He also could really use a lot of help on his truck: It's terrible: chairs are both ripped, transmission is very loud, big horn (sound like someone who has a cold),cb radio is not working, his door is falling apart and he has to keep slamming it to get the radio reception, it needs antenna, the a/c vent is not blowing right either 0 or blasting cold, not in between. non of his speedometer is working, he keeps his dvd collections but no tv to watch it on, He can't take healthy food cos he doesn't have a refrigerator to keep them in; w/c present a bigger problem of quick grab & eat unhealthy food. all of these are to say the least. He bought it used, 8 years ago. it is a 1998 freightliner and has more than a million miles in it. actually the truck itself does, but the engine was brand new. A couple years ago it broke down on him and he had to replaced the whole engine. w/c really broke us cos he was down for more than 2 months.
I am not sure what is the qualification to get in your show; we're not ill nor really really poor, we live in the decent area in dallas/for worth. Our children graduated from Colleyville High School. We have 5 people in the family but we only own 2 regular "shared" vehicles because we do not live above our means. All of the children are only allowed to work part time, because school is the priority (except summer). We take pride in taking care of our own needs and what is the most important things to us, to my husband especially is to get all of our 3 children to college. The legacy he wants to leave them is education, they will not inherit any cash not house and lot but we want to send them out to the world well prepared! our oldest daughter is 3 semesters away from graduating and the other 2 will be starting their freshman year this fall. See, the thing is that our family, home and our children's education comes first. My husband keep having to put off what his needs are to his truck (except tires and other necessities to keep running), honestly, I'm afraid it won't hang on much longer but right now theres nothing he or i can do.
He wishes to one day walk out and find your crew taking his truck!!!
wouldn't that be a dream come true. He loves how talented the crew is and cannot believe that there is such generous show as yours; you give good name to truckers!!! our shot might be slim but i have to try because i believe in my heart that my husband deserves this treat! If it helps any, i have to mentioned that he served 8 yrs in the Marine Corps and 4 yrs in the Army. He was at the first 1990 gulf war.
because both of his MOS (infanty) is not very useful in the civilian world and he did not want to be a cop, but always wanted to own his very own 18 wheelers: "TRUCK DRIVER" is what he become!
His name is Gary but we call him Daddy! even i do! He's very laid back, happy loving life kind of guy (pls chk out photos). He does what he can with what he has and never complain about life. you'll never hear him cuss in his bad day/s!
He is a very dedicated man, hard working, goal oriented, intelligent and grateful. To me, if you consider him for "TRICK MY TRUCKER" I'll be forever grateful to you. I'm not going to lie, He'd love for his truck to get the trick more than him! I really really hope you give this letter some consideration. Take good care of yourselves and God Bless you continually!
Sincerely & Respectfully Yours,
~My Dodson~ I'll be waiting to hear back from you! Thank you for your time.

Hello, First of all, I think your show is great! I never asked for help before, but I'm to the point where I need to ask. April of '07 my husband Fred,(owner Operator Truck Driver) had a heart attack. By the time I got him to the hospital it had passed, he wanted to go home, but I made him wait to be seen. Good thing, because he began having another one. It was the valve they call the "Widow Maker". They told me between the Bayer aspirin I gave him prior to leaving our home and having him at the hospital when it began again is what saved his life, other wise he wouldn't be with us today. I thank God for that! I almost lost the love of my life that day. Fred is also diabetic. With all the medication he is on,our doctor kept him off work until June of '08. I am not in the healthiest condition myself, but I do what I can. During the past year, while taking care of Fred, I also take care of my 78 yr.old mother who falls a lot & is forgetful, our grand daughter who just turned 5,(so her mother can work), they also live w/us. Over the course of the year and 2 months that he was off, we fell behind on all our bills, because we had no income from his truck coming in. We tried to put drivers in it, but that didn't work out. Meanwhile we fell more behind. We are even on the verge of loosing our home. Since Fred went back to work in June, his truck keeps breaking down. Right now its in the shop having a radiator put in. From his truck sitting so long its like everything is going. We can not afford all these repairs. He still has about a year and a half of payments due on it and we are struggling to pay them. With fuel prices what they are, that doesn't help either. If his truck stops rolling, we will, there is no doubt loose everything we have worked our entire lives for. Fred has been trying to keep it running, even if it meant jimmy rigging some of it. Pretty soon, he's going to need tires, and that scares the heck out of me as to where we will get them. He used to have XM,but we had to let that go,now he listens to stories on cd to give him something to listen to. Right before we put his truck in the shop, he said his cb is acting up now. I worry about Fred when he is out on the road, he tries not to let me see how much he is struggling to make ends meet, and when he calls me to tell me something else has broke on his truck, I know it about kills him because he doesn't want to give up and he knows I stress over it all. Everything we had saved we used up during his recovery, what we didn't have we put on credit cards to survive. Now we are at the point where we have nothing we can use, except for him to keep driving. When I ride with him its hard to sleep because his sleeper mattress has springs that jab you, so he sleeps at one end and I sleep at the other so we can still sleep beside each other, its a tight fit. He has some type of electrical problem I know, because every so often he shorts out a TV(he's on his 3rd one) and his refrig., just fried itself. When winter is here, I know he gets cold in his sleeper, because his heat doesn't always work, and in the summer, his AC doesn't always work, but he deals with it. One of his sleeper lights doesn't always come on, so you have to hit the back wall to get it to come on. He has broken vents and switches on his dash, which he deals with. He has difficulty hearing his stories, so he turns the volumn way up. The couple dings and scrapes on his truck has been from other drivers hitting him when backing up. I love my husband and I want to make life easier on him. I don't want him to have another heart attack. If you could please trick his truck, that would be a huge help and he wouldn't have to work so hard. He could enjoy his bass fishing more often and relax more. If you can, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hello Trick My Truck! My husband and I are very big fans of your show and LOVE the work you all create. My husband, especially, loves the work you guys do. Every time he watches the show his eyes light up like it's Christmas. He's a very hard working man. He has his own business as a mobile mechanic, meaning he travels to people's house's or their place of business to do mechanic work to their vehicles. We do live in Florida, so it's very convenient and helpful for the elderly community down here. It's also good for everyone else b/c they don't have to take time off of work or leave their house to get work done on their vehicles. My husband, Jason, is a very kind hearted man. He puts everyone else's needs before his. But he never seems to catch a good break. He's always being taken advantage of by people. And then there's his work van. Since he's just starting out and business has been ok, he hasn't had the time or money to get his van in order. He really needs to have his work van TRICKED out right. It's a big diesel ford van that needs a lot of love that we can't give it right now. I feel it would boost his confidence up and give him a good step in the direction of success. I would do anything for my husband to make him happy. I think that if you guys can make it over here to Florida, you would be fulfilling one of my husband's dreams. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider us for the next season. All of our love to you all and may God Bless You.

Sincerely,
Jennifer and Jason Gallagher

Dear Trick my Truck,

My son and I enjoy watching you transform so many trucks. I really enjoyed the episode with the beekeepers truck. I wish I could have been there to see his expression in person. He seemed so thrilled with your work. Congratulations on such a popular show concept.

As I watched the show I couldn’t help but think about my 12 year old son, Andrew Nicholson, who already has his first truck. His off road travel is limited to our small 15 acre farm, but he is still a very good driver and a darn good farmer. He has 2 goats, 3 dogs, and 15 Rhode Island Red Chickens, and this summer he tried his hand at gardening. He has a small egg business that helps cover the cost of his animal feed and he also helps maintain many other things around the farm. For 12 years old he has taken on a lot of responsibility and seems to have a good business sense and heart as big as Texas, not to mention he’s a dang handsome young man.

Andrew was born in 1996 just two months after his great grandfather Cooley Nicholson died of heart attack. Cooley was so thrilled to know my husband Dennis and I were expecting a son. Andrew is the only grandson to carry on the family name. Andrew is so much like his Popa Cooley. Guess that’s why it only seemed natural to name our son, Andrew Cooley Nicholson.

Because of conflicts with a scorned uncle, Cooley’s will was contested and Andrew’s dad, Dennis, out of respect for his grandmother, opted not to duke it out with his uncle and settled for just a few sentimental items and the river property that was promised in the will. Quite honestly Dennis walked away from large amounts of cash just so his grandmother would not have to spend her final days torn between her love for him and her son. Dennis was a loyal grandson who spent enormous amounts of time on the farm helping his grandfather maintain chicken houses, raise cattle, and managing the garden.. Despite the more valuable things he could have chosen, the two items that Dennis insisted on was a beat up 1950 Ford Tractor, and a 1982 Dodge Ram ½ ton truck.

A couple of years ago Dennis and Andrew restored the tractor and it is among the most valuable treasures we own because of the sentimental value it holds. When you look at the faces of this father and son, the deep love between the two is unmistakable. We’ve had some hard times since they restored the tractor. Dennis had a heart attack in 2006 and other serious health problems have developed that keep him from being able to work as much with our son. Now that his dad is somewhat limited physically Andrew has really stepped up to the plate. He uses the old farm truck every single day but it is on its last leg. While the motor seems to be in pretty good shape, the truck is in desperate need of an overhaul. Some people would just junk our homey old truck and buy a new shiny one, but for my guys this truck is more than just a set of wheels, it represents a way of life a rich heritage of farming. I believe Andrew’s story is one worth sharing and will be inspirational to other young men many who simply veg out on the sofa and play video games. Andrew is the kind of kid every dad wants and he deserves a break. He’s had to take on more than most boys and I’m very proud of him.

While he doesn’t drive a big rig, the way he acts about his lil ole truck would make you think he appreciates it just like the truckers do their rigs. While I know this little truck needs many parts replaced, I believe if you tricked his truck, it would give Andrew just the motivation he needs to keep heading in the right direction in life. Our river side farm would show wonderfully on television and we are all a very out going and camera friendly family. I can all but guarantee a great ratings booster if you choose to feature our story. Andrew is the youngest of three children. He has two beautiful older sisters, Kara and Hannah, (16 and 18) who would also both love to see Andrew catch a break.

We live in a small community and have maintained a life of the utmost credibility and generosity. Short of bragging, we are an earthy family who lives among our neighbors always ready to lend a helping hand. Please consider our story and call me with your show ideas today!

Thank you for using yours skills to brighten the lives of so many people.

Sincerely,
Kathy Nicholson
